During this drill, a fire broke out in an acrylic acid storage tank during hot work operations. The incident was reported to the overall commander and the initial fire was immediately extinguished. Upon discovering that the fire was not effectively controlled, fire alarm support was requested and instructions were issued to stop all production operations and evacuate all factory employees to the emergency evacuation assembly point.
During the drill, under the unified deployment of the commander-in-chief, a series of rescue and firefighting operations were carried out based on the fire situation in the tank area, including shutting down key equipment, evacuating personnel, entering the fire scene to rescue people, controlling the initial fire situation, guiding fire trucks to enter the factory, informing the site of risks, positioning fire trucks in front and behind, connecting fire hydrants in the factory, and activating automatic water sprinklers.
After the drill, the head of the fire rescue station commented on the drill, stating that the emergency drill for the fire and explosion accident was well prepared in advance, organized in an orderly manner, and had realistic and appropriate scenarios, achieving the expected results of the drill.
